The Simple Woman's Daybook

Real Me (Meaningful Days) sent us to Mrs. Farrah (Old Fashioned Homekeeper) yesterday, and I found that she participates in this weekly meme from The Simple Woman. It's apparently done on Mondays, but it looks like fun, so I'm doing it today for sheer lack of true writing creativity.

FOR TODAY OCTOBER 2
Outside My Window... a train rumbles by.
I am thinking... about the hole in my face made by the dermatologist yesterday.
I am thankful for... TCC's mom, who is willing and able to give me a ride when I need one.
From the kitchen... came 10 little bags of 16 grapes each, all packed and ready for Squiggly-Wiggly's day as snack helper in Kindergarten today.
I am wearing... a rather large gauze bandage on my forehead.
I am creating... a reason to meet my not-so-new neighbors who I've unintentionally managed to avoid meeting for 4 months.
I am going... to leave the house at 6:10 am for plastic surgery
I am reading... Hope Beyond Reason, the true story of my pastor's miraculous battle with cancer.
I am hoping... to not even get close to fainting when they put in my IV
I am hearing... the phone ring
Around the house... all will be quiet because everyone will be out
One of my favorite things... is Pandora internet radio

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week:
Cheering Squiggly-Wiggly on in his first Race For Education at his school on Friday. Each fall, all the kids run/walk for an hour straight to raise money for their school. His goal is 15 laps... which is approximately 3.75 miles!

Here is picture thought I am sharing...

4-seater airplane ride for Squiggly-Wiggly when he was 3 1/2.

We were in Virginia... flew mostly around Augusta county and near the Blue Ridge Mountains. HotSauce's friend's Dad was our pilot... his friend and Dad purchased the local airport a couple years ago.

I love doing the Simple woman's meme's. On Monday's go onto www.thesimplewoman.blogspot.com and add your name to her Mr. Linky list.

Flying looked like fun!

I answered your question on wardrobe in a new post if you wanna check it out.

BTW, my name is Mrs. Farrah Ginter or just Farrah. When I started this I forgot to put the last name! I'm so used to everyone calling me Miss Farrah because that's what my kids friends call me.

I'm not caught up on your blog, but I wanted to say that I hope that your medical issues are resolved soon (the bandage, iv, etc.)

That looked like a fun airplane ride!
