Free Couch and Chair

I am giving away a free, very comfy couch (and matching oversized chair, if desired). Especially good for those who like to sew. Needs slipcovers or reupholstery. The frame is good and it is really comfy. Rowe brand, from NB Liebman. I just don't have the skill or time to reupholster, nor the desire to use slipcovers. (I've not tried official slipcovers. I tried my own versions and my boys insisted on undressing the couch to use the covers as blankets).

Here's an old picture that shows the couch and part of the chair. I don't remember why we had the couch partially blocked by the chair, but it looks like we were rearranging something, with the vacuum in the pic and all:

So I was sitting in traffic on Friday and saw a sign for a moving sale. I decided to go see if they might have a couch, and they had one in the perfect color for my home. It's comfortable, although not as much as the one I'm giving away. It's only 3 years old, looks like new, and it was cheaper than buying a slipcover! I'm blessed. Here's a picture of my new couch. My kitty cat has settled right in. And for those of you who crochet, yes, that is the largest afghan I've ever made!
