Camping Weekend

Our Campsite (with 2 singles from our former small group): Do you see the caterpillar?
OK, it really was in the last picture, but here is a clearer shot:
Getting ready for smores:

With near record highs, the water was the place to be:
All ready to swim:
There were many moments I missed on camera. Squiggly-Wiggly spent much time on his bicycle, riding with other children around the loop (a circular road in the organized group campsite area). He insisted on riding every time he went to the bathroom (a mere 4 campsite distance). He was so proud to be sent on a biking mission to ask Livin' Life's Knight if we left our grilling forks over there. I slung a campchair bag over his back in which he could carry the forks back to our campsite.

Fuzzy-Wuzzy didn't want to stay at first, having only a 20 minute nap and being 36 hours into a 48 hour fever. (I checked with the dr. and they suspected Fifth's disease, since he had the slapped face look. Since he also had the body rash, he was no longer contagious and his fever would abate soon.) Eventually he settled down and enjoyed himself. After he got used to it, he loved every minute of camping. He was quite upset Sunday afternoon when I insisted it was time to go.

"Fuzzy-Wuzzy?" You went camping with a bear? It looks like you had a fun time - bugs and all.

I had to go back again to see the caterpillar on his shoe! Looks like the boys had a great time.
