You're Invited to my Party...

Who? Anyone who knows me in real life
When? Anytime between now and Wed, April 23
What? Tupperware. (All those ordering through my party get a free citrus peeler).
Where? Right here... or you can ask me to bring you a printed catalog
How? Browse the products on the Tupperware website. Don't order there, but rather email your order to me. You can use my regular email address if you have it, or send email to h a n d s f r e e h e a r t A T g m a i l D O T c o m.
Why? HotSauce's cousin Katie is just starting out as a Tupperware consultant, and I want to support her (and I really like their stuff).

Don't forget... if you have existing Tupperware that is damaged, you can trade it in for a replacement.

This month's sales include lots of kids stuff.

My boys would love the Disney/Pixar's Cars canister or lunch set:

I currently own several Tupperware bowls with lids, kids tumblers with sippy spouts, and several of their miniature containers (1 oz and 2 oz), which I love. I have some old Tupperware tumblers from the 70s, and the new lids for my 2 oz containers still fit the old cups, as do the sippy lids for my kids cups.

I also have my mother's cake carrier in a lovely avacado green :)

Mom wouldn't give up her Season Serve® container, so I got one of my own several years ago. It's supposed to be for marinating... you just flip it over, no need to mess with the raw meat... and no leaks! I also use it to transport cupcakes, brownies, etc., as it is much deeper than most containers. You may have noticed back here that I lined it with a paper towel and used it to dry freshly-dyed easter eggs. (The bottom surface has bumps, allowing air to pass under... it worked well for the eggs.)

I've heard from several people that the FridgeSmart® Containers work really well at keeping fruits and veggies longer. I'm thinking that they may be very useful since I know I'll be receiving lots and lots of lettuce from Spiral Path Farm. I really don't want to grow science experiments in my fridge, but I can only eat so many salads per day!

I'm done going cheapo on stuff I use a lot, because I'm tired of having to shop for replacements when the stuff breaks. My current ceramic flour and sugar canisters don't seal and the handles are broken, so I'm thinking of getting the One Touch® Reminder Canister Set.

Do you have any Tupperware (or did your mother)? Which pieces do you use the most?

I will have to check it out over the weekend. We have been so crazy here with half days and housing a young girl whos mom is in the hospital right now. Having another woman in the house has been interesting even if she is only 10. :)

Yes...both my mom had Tupperware and I do too. One of my favorite things (because there are many favorites) are the modular mates. My pantry is so organnized because of them and my sugar never gets hard. Storage is easy and neat.

I also like the Impressions pitcher for summer lemonade and iced tea. And rock-n-serve's for storage and warming up in the micro - they are so great. Snack cups are good and have multiple uses.

Ok...I need to stop but truth be told - I only had to buy the items that I use ONE time and I don't think I have ever been disappointed.

OH! I will come back and look when I have more time! ;-)

I hope you have been feeling better these days. I know the sunshine helps.
